WALK & TALK
Interaction with the natural environment is both restorative and healing for humans. Nature therapy helps us connect to nature mindfully through our senses and emotions. ‘Walk and Talk’ focuses on talk therapy, while connecting to the natural settings in our environment such as the beach, urban parks or botanical gardens.
As counselling does not need to be restricted to sitting in a confined room, outdoor counselling sessions can be arranged around the Nelson/Tasman region along a beach, a local park or botanical gardens. The connection between the whenua (land), our tīpuna (ancestors), the individual and the whānau (family), are all an interconnecting system of mind, body, spirit and land.
